Palm Pre är Palms försök att återta sin position på smartphone marknaden. Palm Pre presenterades under CES 2009 och har hitintills väckt positiv feedback från pressen, och vem kan klandra dem den ser riktigt läcker ut.

Pre har en multitouch skärm som där användaren kan interagera med operativet på liknande sätt som på Apple iPhone. Operativsystemet i Palm Pre är det helt nyutvecklade WebOS som är Palms försök att skapa ett både användarvänligt och utvecklarvänligt gränssnitt. För utvecklare betyder WebOS att alla program som görs till Pre bygger på vanliga webbspråk som HTML/CSS/JS.
